Questions?
Do I have to buy anything to play?
No. The Puzzle Hunt is free to enter and free to play. Bonus clue codes in Feastables wrappers are optional, and there's a free way to get them described in the Official Rules.
How are winners chosen?
By the final leaderboard. You earn points for every correct answer, with bonus points for speed. Speed is measured per puzzle, not by when you joined, so signing up late doesn't hurt your score. Ties are broken by total solve time.
What exactly do the winners get?
Places 1β10 win $10,000 each. Places 11β30 win $5,000 each. All 30 winners also get a box of Halloween Peanut Butter Jack-O-Lantern Cups.
Is it too late to join?
Nope. You can sign up and play anytime until October 31 at 11:59 P.M. ET. Every chapter stays open until then, so you can catch up on everything you missed. Winners are verified and announced within two weeks after the hunt ends.
Can I team up with friends?
Talk it out all you want, but each hunter competes solo with one account. Sharing answers publicly gets an account disqualified.
